A Japanese Zen Garden has been created parallel to the pool on the left wing of the hotel. This garden is specially designed as a replica of the UNESCO World Heritage Ryoan-ji garden located in Kyoto.

This Zen garden allows for viewing and mindful awareness exercises from specially designed meditation terraces both from outside and inside.

Practical training in organic and sustainable farming principles will be provided in the hobby gardens in the pasture. Hotel guests will have the opportunity to participate in daily archaeological work at the MAYDOS excavation site throughout the year.

On certain days of the week, a free market place will be provided for local women producers.
