CULTURAL HERITAGE PROTECTION AND PRESENTATION POLICY

Cultural heritage encompasses all tangible and intangible values related to our identity, culture, and history. Cultural heritage includes historic cities and structures, cultural landscapes, monumental buildings, and archaeological sites, as well as intangible values such as language, traditions, dance, music, and rituals. In conventions and international legal documents prepared by international institutions such as UNESCO and ICOMOS, the concept of cultural heritage is categorized as tangible cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, underwater cultural heritage, and natural heritage. Tangible cultural heritage is divided into movable and immovable cultural heritage. Movable cultural heritage includes paintings, sculptures, coins, manuscripts, and archaeological artifacts. Immovable cultural heritage consists of structures like monuments, archaeological sites, and historic city textures. Underwater cultural heritage includes wrecks, underwater ruins, and cities. Intangible cultural heritage includes oral traditions, performing arts, and rituals, while natural heritage covers natural sites with cultural dimensions, cultural landscapes, and physical, biological, and geological formations.

Protection of Cultural Heritage Assets involves maintenance, repair, restoration, and function change processes for immovable cultural assets, and preservation, maintenance, repair, and restoration activities for movable cultural assets, as defined under the Preservation of Cultural and Natural Assets Law No. 2863.

In this context, as ETRUSCAN HOTEL, our CULTURAL HERITAGE PROTECTION AND PRESENTATION POLICY is as follows:

• We identify and control the potential direct and indirect impacts of our activities, visitors, and supply chain operations on cultural heritage assets.

• We publish brochures, booklets, and videos promoting our cultural heritage assets within our operations.

• We engage in initiatives focused on protecting cultural heritage assets with NGOs and local governments.

• We organize in-house training and internal communication activities to raise awareness about the PROTECTION AND PRESENTATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE ASSETS, including this topic in our sustainability training programs.

• We take actions to facilitate the sharing of the local cultural heritage inventory.
